    LVDT Position Sensors for Displacement

    Our Linear Variable Differential Transformers (LVDTs) are designed for accurate measurement of position in aircraft and missile systems. They are tested to meet the most stringent environmental requirements of MIL-STD-810 and MIL-E-5400.

    • Single or dual-voltage output devices designed for high accuracy and reliability
    • Welded or hermetically sealed construction to withstand harsh environments 
    • Full range motions for +0.01 inches to +6.0 inches 
    • Wide range of operating frequencies to match aircraft and missile systems requirements 
    • Case and fitting configurations can be custom designed to fit actuator and control surface requirements

    Our magnetic proximity switch transducers are specially designed to meet the high reliability, long life requirements of commercial and military aircraft applications. The results are a precise, highly reliable, long life, maintenance-free proximity switch.

    • Dimensions: Sensor: 1.6 x 0.46 x 0.35 in. / Actuator (magnet): 1.6 x 0.46 x 0.35 in.
    • Sensor Output: 500 mA at 28 VDC into a resistive load, 250 mA into an inductive load with a time constant of <10ms 
    • High Reliability (50,000 hours MTBF with normal maintenance)
